Join me for a fun day of mini art making! This is a crash course in encaustic techniques. Learn the basics then have plenty of time to play and layer up those pieces. By playing with a "series concept", we will make many small art pieces that can be split up as individual works or hung together as a complimentary set. Encaustic and mixed media on small wood panels; choose from 3 sizes kits; 6pcs 4"x4", 6pcs 5"x7" or 6pcs 6"x6". Kits include 6 panels of choice size, encaustic medium, use of all chalk paints and adhesives, mixed media ephemera and papers. I encourage you to bring your own faves; photocopied images and photos, papers, ephemera and more to truly make things personal. Beginners welcome!
Workshop fee: $120+hst (payable now) + Kit Feeof choice: 4x4 $45, 5x7 $55, 6x6 $55(at time of class or buy now to ensure kit size as quantities are limited).
