Modeling Paste vs Paper Texture Paste by Judy

Melody of Colour
Creating textured elements to a painting is fun with the right products.
With this piece I chose to compare modeling paste to paper texture paste. I used a palette knife to create the patterns. They both went on really smoothly. I found I had more control with the modeling paste because the paper paste is very fluffy but I still liked the difference.

Once dried the only distinguishing difference was the colour. Modeling paste was slightly more translucent.

Since I was painting the entire piece, the colour of the pastes did not matter.
Love them both.
